Freddie Gibbs drops a new song ‘Big Boss Rabbit’.
Following the release of ScHoolboy Q-assisted ‘Gang Signs‘ in February, Freddie Gibbs returns with some new material as he releases a new song called “Big Boss Rabbit“. The track comes along with an official video which is directed by JMP.
Gibbs collaborated with The Alchemist on Alfredo last year. Rick Ross, Benny The Butcher, Tyler, The Creator, and Conway The Machine all contributed to the project, which had ten tracks. With 30,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week, Alfredo became both Gibbs and Alchemist’s highest-charting album to date, peaking at number 15 on the Billboard 200.
Freddie is now preparing for his feature film debut in Down with the King, in which he will portray Mercury Maxwell, the primary role. Diego Ongaro, the film’s writer/director, recently spoke with HipHop24x7 about the project, discussing his general objective for the film as well as his time working with Gibbs.
Last month, Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist performed ‘Scottie Beam‘ on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. Watch the visual below.
