21 Savage drops the video for “Betrayed”.
Yesterday, The film “Gully” which opened at the Tribeca Film Festival a couple of years ago, hits theaters. The movie comes along with an official star-studded soundtrack which featured new music from Don Toliver, ScHoolboy Q, Dua Lipa, Miguel, 2 Chainz, and more. Epic Records now dropped the music video for 21 Savage & Metro Boomin featured a song called “Betrayed“.
“Big dawg status, my play money, whole M stacks in the PayPal / Caught a opp’ hangin’ at a barbecue and f–ked around and shot the whole playground / Eastside ni–a ’bout gunplay, say the wrong thing, we’ll chase y’all / Hit ’em broad-day with a AR, 12 still tryna get the case off,” he rapped.
The video for “BETRAYED” was created by Nabil himself and features images of 21 Savage and Metro Boomin as well as Grand Theft Auto-style animations. In between scenes from Gully, “21” can be seen wreaking havoc on everybody and everything, beating up locals in an alley, firing at the cops, and otherwise spreading mayhem – images of Gully actor Charlie Plummer playing at an arcade give the impression that he is in charge of the video game action.
“Gully” is directed by Nabil Elderkin and it shows three friends from a rough LA neighborhood embark on a wild night out. Watch the new video below.
