Lil Durk and Kid Cudi connect on “Guitar In My Room”.
Lil Durka and Kid Cudi join forces for a brand new single titled “Guitar In My Room”. The track serves as the second single from upcoming Cole Bennett’s Lyrical Lemonade compilation album. This follows up the first single “Doomsday” by Juice WRLD and Cordae in June.
“See your life is a scary movie, I can hold you in my arms / Can’t cover your face with the makeup, I know who you are / Don’t get your ti–ies and a-s done, I like who you are / It make you so insecure about whoever you are,” raps Smurk.
“Hmm, who we are, tellin’ all your girlfriends that I’m your star / Caught you in a dream, I hit you with that sauce / If we aim at the moon, no, baby, we won’t fall / She said she miss that feeling / A real ni–a that is so appealin’,” raps Cudi.
“Obviously, the Lyrical Lemonade album has always been in discussion. It would be a compilation album with a lot of the artists that we work with, just creating different vibes and bringing different worlds together, I was so DIY and anti-industry, I never wanted to do it because the timing was wrong.” Bennett said previously.
“I hated labels for a long time. It rubbed me the wrong way. I just knew the time wasn’t right, I’m big on timing with everything. If I feel even the tiniest gut feeling in the opposite direction, I follow it.”
