Ty Dolla Sign & Mustard enlist Lil Durk on “My Friends”.
Ty Dolla Sign and Mustard are joining forces on a new collaborative album, and the duo gives the first taste off it. The duo enlist hitmaker Lil Durk for a brand new single titled “My Friends”, which is produced by the two along with FNZ, Nic Nac, Tom Levesque, and Waterboy.
“That ain’t your dog, you ain’t got the same opps (Let’s get it) / That’s my mud brother, got love for him like the same pops (Same pops) / You know I love you when I send the real addy to the main slot (Yeah, yeah) / You know that’s twin ‘n ‘nem, same th*ts, same Glocks (Let’s get it),” raps Smurk.
Ty Dolla Sign recently assisted Kid Cudi on his new album “Entergalactic” on the single titled “Willing To Trust“.
As for their much anticipated collaborative album, Mustard said that they have a tonne of content to offer with their fans, saying “We always talked about it and said we was going to do it. We always just have millions of songs laying around and stuff like that.” He continued, “So I don’t know, I think we just was just like, ‘All right, it’s time. We might as well just do it because we just have so much.’ Between me, him, YG, the people that I work with closely… we all just have all these songs. And me and Ty just got a lot of songs so it was super overdue. I feel like we’ve been supposed to do this.”
