Timbaland, Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake drops new song “Keep Going Up”.
After teasing it throughout the past month, Timbaland reunites with Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake for a brand new single titled “Keep Going Up”. The collaboration comes 16 years after their Billboard Hot 100 hit “Give It To Me” which was dropped in 2007.

“I’ve been addin’ commas on my new statements / Yeah, I’ve been on new energy, it’s contagious / I could try to hide it, but can’t contain it / This life keeps goin’ up and I can’t explain it, sings Timberlake.
“[Timbaland and Timberlake] had thought it out quite a lot,” Furtado previously said in interview with Billboard. “What’s great about them is they’re like, ‘We want you to do your thing. We want you to lead the ship in that direction.’ Then they had some great music and parts together. If the three of us are on a song, then we’re all equals, and that’s a really good feeling.”
“I feel like the place that I’m at is the same place I was at when I was like 20, when I first signed a record deal and spent all my time obsessing over music, listening to music, making music and collaborating with friends who make music,” Furtado told Billboard. “I’m there again, I’m in it for the craft. I’m in it for the right reasons and it’s so pure for me right now. It’s just pure inspiration all day.”
She continued, “I’m just happier than ever making music. I love my job more than I’ve ever loved it. I recognize that being onstage is like my home.”
