Thundercat enlists posthumous Mac Miller vocals for “She Knows Too Much”.
While Mac Miller is no longer with us, the rapper’s fans are again blessed with a posthumous performance of the late emcee, who passed away in 2018. Thudercat is prepping his new album “Distracted”, for which he released a new single “She Knows Too Much” featuring posthumous vocals from Miller. The track was first leaked online back in 2020, and now officially released after six years.
“I’m grateful to have spent my time on this planet with Mac,” Thundercat said in a statement. “What an artist, what a spirit, what a joy to have experienced.”
“What can I say about Mac Miller that hasn’t been said, shared & explored with you all. I always considered Mac a “one man rat pack”. Smooth like Frank, cool like Sammy, suave like Dean,” Thundercat wrote on IG. “I wish that you all could have been there with us the moment this song was created in his garage. Between @macmiller , @taylorgravesofficial , @love_burg & I we all knew it was something special. So happy to be able to finally share!”
