The Weeknd & Ariana Grande shares the “Die For You” remix.
After teasing it earlier this week, The Weeknd teams up with Ariana Grande for the remix of his song “Die For You”. The original version was released in 2017, as part of the Canadian singer’s third studio album “Starboy”.
This is duo’s fourth collaboration, as they previously worked on the “Off The Table“, “Love Me Harder” and “Save Your Tears” remix.
“I’m findin’ ways to stay concentrated on what I gotta do / But, baby boy, it’s so hard ’round you / And yes, I’m blamin’ you / And you know I can’t fake it, now or never / And you insinuatin’ that you think we might be better / Better me and you / Yeah, I know you do,” sings Grande.
In early 2023, the original song gained immense popularity on TikTok, resulting in its peak position at #6 on the Billboard Top 100. In response, Ariana Grande shared a snippet of her verse from the song on social media, sparking rumors of a potential collaboration between the two musicians. Just a day after, on February 22, the artists officially announced their remix collaboration to their fans.
