Eminem drops “River” featuring Ed Sheeran.
Eminem is all set to release his 9th studio album ‘Revival‘ tomorrow and DJ Booth confirmed that the next single off the album is Ed Sheeran assisted ‘River‘. Eminem’s ninth studio album, Revival, was released on Friday (Dec. 15), to much fanfare. In the short time since its debut, the strange collaboration between him and Ed Sheeran has stood out. Sheeran performs a catchy song about his earlier blunders with Emile Haynie’s production, who also produced Kanye West’s “Runaway.” His duet with British artist Ed Sheeran had to sell over 1,2 million copies in the UK to be accorded 2xPlatinum Brit Certified status.
Eminem released the nearly seven-minute-long music video for “River,” which features Ed Sheeran, after a handful of teasers. The video depicts Eminem’s affair with Sue, a married lady who becomes pregnant during the rapper’s affair, which he assumed was simply a fling. Eminem, Sue, and Sue’s husband Trevor explains how they’re all connected in the video, as well as other aspects of their lives.
