Jadakiss assists Robin Thicke on the unreleased “When I Get You Alone” remix.
Robin Thicke is celebrating the 20 years of his debut album “A Beautiful World”, and the LA singer has unleashed a 20-year anniversary deluxe edition of the project.
With the deluxe, the singer has released a remix of his song “When I Get You Alone” which featured assistance from Jadakiss. The song was supposed to appear on his debut project in 2002. The track’s original version was first released under the name “Thicke”.
“Made this remix of When I Get You Alone with @jadakiss years ago and it’s finally out,” he wrote. “It’s the 2nd unreleased track from A Beautiful World and we got another one coming tomorrow.”
“Started off with an incredible talk / We mixed the Hynoptik with the yak and had an incredible haul / Had to show her where my mind was at / Weed was in the stash so I had to show her where my – was at / Never mind all that we puffed some dubs up,” raps Jada.
Just recently, Jada also assisted Swizz Beatz on the song titled “Take ‘Em Out” along with Benny The Butcher, Scar Lip. The song appeared on Beatz’s “Hip Hop 50, Vol 2” EP through Mass Appeal, which arrives in celebration of Hip-Hop’s 50th anniversary.
