Rob Markman shares a new track “100 Losses”.
Rob Markman makes his return to the music scene with a brand new single called “100 Losses”. The Journalist/rapper is currently working on his new album, a follow-up to the previous one “If You Don’t You’ll Regret It.”
“I was going through a tough time when I wrote this, I was feeling defeated,” he wrote on the song. “DviousMindz sent me the beat and it was just so hyped. The original beat file was titled “100 Mill” when I got it, I just flipped that to “100 Losses” It reminded me of Rocky, it reminded me that no matter what you gotta get back up and keep fighting. I’m ok with my losses, because they led me to all of my wins.”
“If I ever take an L that’s on me, I ain’t no victim / We don’t complain we adjust that’s the difference / Tell Trav I done bought into the system / Copped the Cartiers, now they f**kin’ with the vision,” he raps.
“Over the past few months I’ve been thinking about the ups and downs of it all. When we’re going through it, it’s easy to feel alone, because you click on social media and it looks like everyone else is winning. The truth is, WE ALL TAKE LOSSES. I just wanted to make a song to reflect that. It’s the getting up after you get knocked down that’s really important,” Rob said about the drop.
