Rob Markman shares a new song “Fake Chains”.
Rob Markman continues putting out new music as he now releases a brand new track titled “Fake Chains”, with production from his go-to collaborator DviousMindz. “I rather have no chains than fake chains,” he wrote.
“In music, and hip-hop specifically, it takes so much more than the music to be successful. Not only do we have to sound good, we have to look the part too,” Markman explains. “Of course, this is all about entertainment, but have we gotten to the point where the image matters more than the music? I’ve seen a few interviews where rappers talk about wearing fake jewelry when they couldn’t afford the real thing, just so the fans would like ’em. It got me thinking, and so I made this song. Hope you enjoy it.”
This follows up his previous release “100 Losses“. The Journalist/rapper is currently working on his new album, a follow-up to the previous one “If You Don’t You’ll Regret It.”
