Problem’s unconventional approach complements the laid-back production wonderfully, and he leaves enough of leeway within each stanza for his famed “What?” adlib. He’s joined by regular collaborator Childish Gambino, who has an amazing verse on the song by rapping: “I’m a latch key kid home alone so much, but I had to return back to my ‘Cali’ like ‘Caulkin.”
