Listen to a new posthumous Juice WRLD song “Already Dead”.
Last month, rapper Lil Bibby announced that a new Juice WRLD track called “Already Dead” is dropping in November, and the posthumous offering is finally here. Throughout this year, we’re getting a lot of posthumous Juice WRLD vocals in a lot of projects, including Young Thug’s “Punk“, Trippie Redd’s “Trip At Knight“, and more. A few months ago, Juice WRLD’s team also shared a “Lucid Dreams” Remix featuring Lil Uzi Vert.
For Chicago-native Juice WRLD’s posthumous album Fighting Demons, “Already Dead” serves as the first promo song. Juice discusses his heartache and drug misuse while pointing out the issues that arise when the two are combined.
Juice’s new album will be released as a trilogy, the first of which is named The Party Never Ends, according to a teaser issued in July. “There are three sections to the record,” Lil Bibby said in a now-deleted tweet. “The first portion of the record is 90% finished; we’re just waiting for [Travis Scott] to spam him!”
Earlier this month, it was announced that Juice WRLD was honoured with 50 new RIAA Plaques in a single day. “Lucid Dreams” is closing in on diamond certification as it is currently 9x-platinum. On December 16th, HBO will also release a Juice WRLD documentary called “Juice WRLD: Into the Abyss” on their platform.
I’m only here by popular demand,” he raps on the second verse, “I’m stayin’ alive for the fans.
Juice WRLD is in the form that made him famous in “Already Dead.” Juice WRLD’s songs appear to be signals from his darkest moments, immersed in gloomy emotions and backed by pensive piano notes.
