Polo G returns with new single “Distraction”.
Polo G is back as he kicks off his new era with a brand new single called “Distraction”, with production from CuBeatz & Southside. This is his first new song following the release of last year’s “Hall of Fame 2.0” album, which was dropped in December. The song is rumoured to be the lead single off his collaborative project with Southside.
“I couldn’t even enjoy my birthday, bi**h come to me about assumptions / They can’t f**k wit’ me on my worst day, I done ran it up, all hundreds / Baby, Chiraq is my birthplace, if we got a problem, we slump it / Hard times spent, it’s the worst pain and you never get refunded,” he raps.
“1st Single Back inna min This just me warning up I’m bout to Really Take ova,”He posted it on Instagram. He referred to his new single as “a true movie” and recognized those who had tried to “discredit” his “talent”—lyrics from his new song. Polo appears to be planning something major for this year, so stay tuned as we bring you up to date on what’s to come.

Less than six months later, the Chicago rapper released the deluxe edition, Hall Of Fame 2.0. Though the video for “Don’t Play,” starring Lil Baby from the deluxe edition, was released this year, the 23-year-old had previously worked with Fivio Foreign and PGF Nuk before releasing the new, focused single.
