NIGO & Kid Cudi shares a new song “Want It Bad”.
Last month, NIGO, the iconic Japanese fashion designer made his return to the music with an ASAP Rocky collaboration called “Arya“. He is prepping the release of his first musical project in two decades “I Know NIGO”, which is dropping next month on March 25th.
Today, NIGO is back with another new offering from the project, as he connects with Kid Cudi for the song called “Want It Bad”. It was previously revealed that the album will feature Pharrell, Lil Uzi Vert, Pusha T and more.
Cudi came to Twitter a few hours before the single’s release to talk about the partnership, its Parisian video, and his biggest goal for the album. “I want us to focus on the light in my life. I want us to all smile,” he wrote. “My new jam WANT IT BAD w Nigo was planned to come out tomorrow at midnight. Music video Saturday. We shot it in Paris it was a lot of fun w good people. I hope that brings joy to ur souls lets all smile.”
Cudi has recently been involved in a variety of film-related endeavors. The rapper was the subject of the documentary A Man Named Scott, which was made available on Amazon Prime Video in November. He also collaborated with Ariana Grand on the song “Just Look Up,” which they performed in Adam McKay’s film Don’t Look Up, and he joined Jay-Z on a brand-new single for the Western film The Harder They Fall. Cudi will also appear in the forthcoming horror film X, which will be distributed by A24.
