Nigo shares a new song “Heavy” with Lil Uzi Vert.
Nigo continues putting out new material as he now enlists Lil Uzi Vert for a new song called “Heavy”. The track will appear on the iconic Japanese fashion designer’s forthcoming album “I Know NIGO”, and is produced by Brandon Finessin, CuBeatz & AXL Beats. This follows up his previous offerings “Hear Me Clearly” with Pusha T, “Want It Bad” with Kid Cudi, and “Arya” Featuring ASAP Rocky.
“I can pay for the whole hit, that’s only if you let me / Voodoo lady prayed over me just so she could bless me / I know it’s a couple ni**as out here wanna test me / Put a check on him I’m in Miami on the jetskis,” he raps.
Steven Victor said in a January interview with Complex that I Know NIGO began as a modest effort that grew into a full-length, star-studded album. “Originally, it was supposed to be just Pharrell and maybe Pusha-T, but then I started reaching out to different people, and everyone was just like, ‘Yes!’” Victor said. “… It was just super organic how it all came about. I think he’s in his zone, where he’s going for everything right now. Human Made is going crazy, he just became the creative director of Kenzo. It’s just time, and music drives everything for him, so it makes sense that he’s in this particular space and making music.”
