Jack Harlow drops a new video ‘THRU THE NIGHT’.
Jack Harlow, who’s signed to DJ Drama & DJ Cannon’s Generation Now label returns with some new material as the Louisville, Kentucky rapper teams up with fellow hometown artist Bryson Tiller for a new single and video called ‘THRU THE NIGHT‘.
The video was shot in the legendary ‘Ville skating rink Robben’s Roost. The frenetic video, created by Ace Pro and Nemo Achida, was characterized by Harlow as a “party on camera.” Before the video ends, the scene shifts to Jack rapping over a bouncy rhythm outside of the rink, demonstrating his flexibility and what’s to come with his next project.
Despite the fact that both Bryson and Jack are from Kentucky, they aren’t a natural fit. One is a laid-back white rapper with a tendency for slice-of-life lyrics, while the other is an R&B/Rap hybrid who is similarly relatable, but with a lot more energy. Surprisingly, the two approaches complement one other as they allow the Usher sample to hold the hook while delivering two enjoyable, if brief, verses. Any song that contains Tiller rapping “Know my spirit isn’t trapped” without sarcasm should be hanged in the rafters.
