Future drops a new song ‘Life is Good’ with Drake.
Future returns with some new material as he teams up with Drake for a brand new song called ‘Life is Good‘. They also released the official video which is split into two parts and directed by X.
The song, coupled with a meme-ready music video portraying two of rap’s wealthiest artists as working-class men in dingy professions, was released at midnight on Thursday. Unlike previous, What a Time to Be Alive collaborations, in which they were separately labelled as main artists, “Life Is Good” is credited to Future and Drake. At this time, it appears that another collaborative project between these two will be launched in 2020, although nothing has been verified. So, for the time being, let’s concentrate on “Life Is Good.”
Future not only delivered the highly awaited music but also the accompanying video made by Director X on Thursday night.
The rappers are shown working as sales employees in a smartphone store, mechanics in an auto repair shop, and behind the counters at a fast-food outlet in the video. When film from the shoot appeared online a few weeks ago, we got a glimpse of the final sequences.
Other fans believe the song will feature on the follow-up to Drake and Future’s 2015 collaboration, What a Time to Be Alive. The pair may have teased the project when they mentioned the No. 2 on Instagram Live in April 2019. “What’s that? We gotta cook that up,” Drake tells the camera with Future by his side. “That two.”
