French Montana drops ‘Writing on the Wall’.
After giving us Gunna-assisted ‘Suicide Doors‘ earlier this month, French Montana continues releasing new material as he teams up with Cardi B and Post Malone for a brand new single called ‘Writing on the Wall‘. He also released the high-budget official video which he teased a few days ago.
The song is the newest single from French’s third studio album Montana, and it was released only days after the project’s cover art and trailer were teased.
The Moroccan-born artist’s latest album, Jungle Rules, was released in 2017, and it continues his history. The musician told Entertainment Weekly in May that his new album was made in “one studio,” in contrast to his previous albums, which were made “all over the place—different studios, different locations.”
French told Angie Martinez that the album will be released on November 9, which also happened to be his 35th birthday. “As far as this album I’m more excited that I’m able to have the right people around me to keep me grounded and help me make the best music that I can make,” he told Entertainment Weekly back in May. “I never really sat anywhere and made an album before. I was always all over the place — different studios, different cities … and now that I can stay stable in one studio and make music. It’s about to be dangerous. It’s about to be very dangerous.”
