DJ Khaled drops ‘Higher’ video featuring Nipsey Hussle & John Legend.
DJ Khaled has released his highly anticipated album ‘Father of Asahd‘ earlier tonight and now he has started dropping the music videos from it. He decided to drop the video for lead single ‘Higher‘ which features John Legend and later Nipsey Hussle.
Khaled also stated that additional song videos from the album will be released. The video for “Just Us,” which features SZA, will be released on Friday, May 17. Khaled will then release the video for “Celebrate,” which features Travis Scott and Post Malone, a few hours later. That’s not all, though. Khaled will release the video for “Jealous,” which features Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and Big Sean, later in the day. If you think that’s all the music videos we’ll receive on May 17, you’re mistaken. The video for “Holy Mountain,” which features Buju Banton, Sizzla, Mavado, and 070 Shake, will then be released, according to Khaled.
Khaled recently turned to social media to address the collab and Nipsey Hussle. “Recently, I embarked on a soul-searching journey down a road I never thought I would travel in a million years. It began when a tragedy robbed the world of an enlightened soul, a brother, a father, a partner and my friend, Nipsey Hussle,” Khaled wrote. “Just days prior, he shared his energy and positivity with me on a video set for a song called “Higher.” After much prayer and reflection; and with the full blessing of the Asghedom family, I am sharing that moment with the world.”
