Common drops a new song ‘Show Me That You Love’.
After giving ‘Hercules‘ featuring Swizz Beatz last month, Common continues releasing new material as he drops another new song called ‘Show Me That You Love‘. He also released the official video for which shows his relationship with his daughter Omoye who recently graduated from Howard University.
The track, which is the latest single off his upcoming album Let Love, sees the veteran emcee link up with multi-talented singer Jill Scott to examine the beauty, hardships, and reality of parenthood through the perspective of a proud father looking to improve his relationship with his daughter. The song’s relatable lyrics wonderfully demonstrate how introspection and self-accountability may frequently prove to be gates to healing in father-child relationships.
