Swae Lee and Jhene Aiko drops “In The Dark” song.
Swae Lee and Jhene Aiko join forces for a brand new song called “In The Dark“. The track is taken from the soundtrack to the upcoming Marvel film “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”. The film is set to release on September 3 and it stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi alongside Awkwafina, Fala Chen, Florian Munteanu, and more.
“Don’t leave me in the dark, I deserve more, I’m somebody’s reward,” Swae sings at the chorus about an ex-lover. “Yeah, I gave her good vibes, oh, you had a good run, I’m far from a regular person.”
“Baby, my love unconditional/It’s about more than material,” Aiko vocalizes in response on her verse. “Don’t leave me hanging out in the cold/Somethings I don’t need to know, but don’t leave me in the dark.”

The new song follows up previously releases tracks, “Lazy Susan” by 21 Savage and Rich Brian, “Every Summertime” by Niki, and “Run It” by DJ Snake, Rick Ross, and Brian.
Jhene Aiko released a new music video in April for her song “Tryna Smoke,” which is featured on her album Chilombo. Aiko and a bunch of friends, including Big Sean and Mila J, were shown admiring a large package of cannabis, rolling joints, and lighting up in the 4/20-themed video. Chilombo debuted at Number Two on the Rolling Stone Top 200 Albums chart when it was released last year.
