Rich The Kid drops “New Freezer” featuring Kendrick Lamar.
After revealing earlier this year that he has worked with Kendrick Lamar on some new music, Rich The Kid finally released his collaboration with K. Dot. The track is called “New Freezer” which premiered on Beats 1 radio today.
According to Rich, the two artists’ surprising collaboration produced predictable outcomes. Rich tells XXL about the collaboration, “[Kendrick] was pleased when he heard the single.””He was like, ‘Everybody is gonna listen to this everywhere,’ and he was right. A lot of people really didn’t expect for me to have a record with Kendrick, but I proved them wrong. It’s not easy to get Kendrick on a record, so it was a huge deal for me to have him featured on the song.”
