Logic & Madlib drops “Raddest Dad” through MadGic.
After forming their new duo called MadGic and dropping the first song called “Mars Only Pt 3” last month, Logic and Madlib returns with another new track called “Raddest Dad“. Even though Logic announced his retirement with the album “No Pressure“, fans now expecting a joint project from the duo soon.
Logic’s farewell album, No Pressure, was released last year, but “Raddest Dad” contains some more recent musings on retiring. When played backward, the song’s spoken-word outro has Logic pondering, among other things, “I mean, I retired, but I’ve been making music every day since then because it’s something I enjoy doing. Then I suppose I recognized that I don’t care for the business. As a result, I believe it is time for me to leave the industry. That is why I would like to perform this music for free. I have a strong desire to return. But I’m not sure if I should return.”
