Machine Gun Kelly drops ‘Killing in the Name’ cover.
Machine Gun Kelly has been active in the protests in L.A. due to the killing of George Floyd. Machine Gun Kelly decided to drop a track dedicated to the whole situation as he releases the cover of Rage Against The Machine’s 1992 protest song ‘Killing in the Name‘ against institutional racism and Police brutality.
In one of the protests clips, MGK and the blink-182 drummer appear together, displaying their respective talents “Stop detaining demonstrators! “Arrest the killer cops!!” and “There will be no justice.” No peace” signs. MGK also shows off the back of his white T-shirt, which reads “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, f—- 12” in reference to the police.
