Russ and Ty Dolla Sign assists Lauren Jauregui on “Wolves”.
Lauren Jauregui, the independent Miami singer has dropped her new EP called “In Between”, which arrives with 7 tracks. While most of the songs are solo offerings, the seventh track “Wolves” features assistance from Ty Dolla Sign and Russ.
“@tydollasign & @russ thank you for being such amazing friends and believing in me & this project enough to be a part of it even though we made Wolves 5 years ago,” she wrote.

“I’m in Atlanta still, money like a Vanderbilt (Yeah, yeah) / A millionaire on hamster wheels, I’m hopin’ that this can’t be real (No, no) / Anythin’ that I don’t have right now, I plan to build it / And anybody tryna shake me, bi**h, I’m standin’ still,” raps Russ.
The fans were surprised to see former couple Ty Dolla and Lauren on the collab together. The two previously had a relationship for around two years, before parting ways in 2019.
“I think there’s more movement to this EP. This is a continuation of Prelude, which is my first EP that I dropped — kind of the sound and vibe that I’ve been cultivating from that point,” she said in an interview with Billboard‘s Tetris Kelly.
