Jessie Reyez drops a new song ‘Far Away II’.
After giving us her debut album ‘Before Love Came To Kill Us‘ where she collaborated with Eminem on the song called ‘Coffin‘, Jessie Reyez continues releasing new material as she releases the deluxe edition of her project.
Following in the footsteps of Lil Uzi Vert and The Weeknd, the Canadian singer-songwriter returned with a couple of new tracks just days after her most recent release. Last year, Jessie released her single “Far Away.”
The new version also features A Boogie wit Da Hoodie and JID on the song called ‘Far Away II‘.
As soon as the album was out, Jessie Reyez posted on her Instagram, “So, I’m conflicted. The whole premise of building this album was to make something that made people think about their mortality. Now it seems like a theme song to what’s happening irl. I’ve reached out for advice; the general consensus is “drop it.” I put everything into this, I even pulled it down from the pre order (Ps You gotta pre order again. ) to make changes because I needed to make sure I was passionate and proud of it – not the label, not my managers- me. So I did. If we drop now and the world ends tomorrow, at least my art was authentic.”
