Bebe Rexha drops a new song “Baby, I’m Jealous” with Doja Cat.
Bebe Rexha teams up with Doja Cat for a brand new single called “Baby, I’m Jealous“. This will appear on her upcoming second studio album. A music video for the song is also on the way as they shared a clip from it.
On the funk-pop ballad, Rexha laments seeing the object of her passion on social media ogling another lady, which makes her feel insecure. In the chorus, she says, “Baby, I’m jealous/Of the photos that you admire.” Baby, I’m jealous/Of the pictures that you like,” she sings on the chorus. “Baby, I’m jealous/Of the girls with lighter eyes/Baby, I’m jealous/And I know that ain’t right.”
Doja Cat recognizes that wandering eyes might lead to a negative emotional state, yet she goes for the bold approach in her poetry. She raps, “Baby, I’m a bad bi*ch/If he fiendin’ he’ll prolly get a catfish,” she raps. “Keep him dreamin’ to pull up on a nap, sh*t/I don’t even be askin’ him, who dat chick?”
