NBA Youngboy enlist Mairah The Scientist for “Rear View”.
Following the release of Nicki Minaj’s collab “WTF” last week, NBA Youngboy continues putting out new material as he drops another new song titled “Rear View”. The song features assistance from Mariah The Scientist, and it arrives with an official music video.
The song is the latest offering off Youngboy’s forthcoming new album “Don’t Try This At Home”, which is slated to release on April 21st through Motown Records.
“Why you treat me like I don’t mean nothin’ all to you? / Just like I’m a nobody, before you, put nobody / Why you trippin’, and I ain’t do nothin’ at all to you / Everytime you gotta leave, you just get so toxic,” raps NBA.
Isaac Garcia, YoungBoy’s frequent collaborator, directed the music video for “Rear View.” The emotional visuals show the Louisiana rapper expressing his feelings in front of his Utah home while Mariah offers the female perspective in various parts of an empty football field. The video perfectly complements the heartfelt nature of the track, showcasing the artists’ vulnerability and introspection.
