NBA Youngboy drops a new song “Life Support”.
NBA Youngboy has been in prison for some time for illegal firearm possession but his team continues putting out new material. Today, a new NBA Youngboy track is released, which is titled “Life Support.” Along with the song, it is also announced that his new album “Sincerely, Kentrell” is dropping on September 24th.
NBA Youngboy recently partnered with Motown Records for a new record label. “I’m excited to work with Never Broke Again, a homegrown brand that has created an incredibly authentic and credible movement that represents the next generation in Louisiana’s legacy of ground-breaking hip-hop labels. I look forward to working with YoungBoy and Montana to continue to grow their vision and reach their fans around the world,” said Motown Records CEO.
Rich Porter created the video for “Life Support,” which was shot over many seasons, as seen by YoungBoy’s transition from heavy coats to lose shirts throughout the video. YoungBoy croons through tough themes like accompanying his grandma to chemo, describing how his suffering keeps him going, and how he feels like he’s living on life support; one step away from having the chord pulled in his song “Life Support.”

Sincerely, Kentrell will include “Life Support” as well as the previously released tracks “Nevada,” “Toxic Punk,” and “White Teeth.” YoungBoy is shown in the booth with his song Kayden Gaulden on the album cover for the next release, while the toddler looks up and watches his father work.
According to MRC Data, Kentrell earned 137,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, including 10,000 pure sales, to debut at the top of the US Billboard 200 list. YoungBoy achieved his fourth chart debut at number one in the US with this song. Additionally, the 23 tracks on the album had a combined 186.29 million on-demand streams. In addition, YoungBoy became the third rapper to have a number-one album while doing time in prison, following Lil Wayne and Tupac.
The new track follows up on his previous offering “Nevada.” Watch the music video for the new song below.
