Mustard enlists Travis Scott for new single “Parking Lot.”
Following his set on Kendrick Lamar’s “The Pop Out: Ken and Friends” concert the other day in LA, Mustard decided to capitalize on the hype with some new music. The West Coast producer now teams up with Travis Scott for a brand new single titled “Parking Lot.” This is the latest release from Mustard’s upcoming new album “Faith of a Mustard Seed”, a follow-up to 2019 “Perfect Ten.”
“All these damn Xans, it be hard to remember when / Out at Lake Olympia, Jason used to whip the Benz / Drop me off at Meadow Creek, I took the boat to river bend / I said it ain’t no comin’ back, no way I thought I’d lose a twin,” he raps.
Just recently, Mustard produced Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss “Not Like Us“, which earned him his career’s first #1 hit on Billboard Hot 100. “Sometimes you really gotta pop out and show ni–as!!!! To think . . . They really fronted on me and acted like I’m not who I am ! I’m thankful but not surprised; I never lost sight and stayed down. With my back against the wall is where I thrive. Summer started last week according to me!! See ya sooner than you think! cc: @kendricklamar city back up !!!,” wrote Mustard.
