Meek Mill drops “Blue Notes 2” with Lil Uzi Vert.
Meek Mill continues dropping new material as he joined forces with Lil Uzi Vert for a brand new song called “Blue Notes 2“. The Nick Papz and Xander produced song is the sequel to Meek Mill’s 2016’s song “Bluenotes” which appeared on his DC4 Album. The new track comes along with an official video which is directed by Kid Art.
Meek Mill and his crew are shown riding ATVs at night, with a dark blue visual effect overlay. Meek Mill talks on the ups and downs of life, as well as the triumphs that followed.
“I was richest ni**a in the prison
I was strappin’ up when ni**as weren’t ridin’
I was the richest ni**a on a mission
I was motivated, I watchin’ moves,” Meek raps.
The track follows up his previous offering, “Sharing Locations” with Lil Baby and Lil Durk. “Sharing Locations” was teased on Meek Mill’s Instagram account in January prior to its release. Nick Papz, Xander, KJ, and Svdominik all contributed to the song’s production.
