Logic is back with another song “Vinyl Days”.
After giving us “Therapy Music” with Russ earlier this month, Logic continues putting out new material as he releases another new single called “Vinyl Days”. The song features assistance from DJ Premier, with some help from Logic’s go to producer 6ix.
“Vinyl Days” is the fourth single and title track for Logic’s seventh and final studio album under DefJam, which is set to release next month on June 17th.
“All I need is one mic, one pen, one page to ignite / Subject matter heavy but the flow is MC Lyte / You mad as f**k, all you see is red like a conservative / All the critics do is talk, I’m really not concerned with it / Hella tired and we can make your residency permanent / Several shots, they tyin’ up your body with a tourniquet,” he raps.
He has maintained that momentum with “Therapy Music,” a collaboration with Russ. Bobby Tarantino III, his 2021 project and the third episode of his fan-favourite series, came before those recent releases. Cynthia Erivo had a single appearance in that project.
“Vinyl Days 6/17, Pre-Save & Pre-Add The Album Now. Link in bio.” the rapper declares alongside the album artwork. The artwork for the album appears to have been taken from his home studio, which served as the backdrop for his one-take teaser for “Breath Control.” The song will be on the next album. On the record cover, the tiny child on the chair looks to be his son Bobby.
