Skylar Grey, Eminem, Mozzy & Polo G drops “Last One Standing”.
After an official announcement yesterday, a new collaboration from Skylar Grey, Eminem, Mozzy, and Polo G is released, which is titled “Last One Standing“. The track is the official theme song for the new film “Venom: Let There Be Carnage“. The Andy Serkis directed movie stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, and more.

The day before the movie was to be released, on September 30, 2021, the music was made public. It was Mozzy’s first entry overall and Skylar Grey’s first entry as a lead artist on the US Billboard Hot 100 when it debuted at number 78. Venom and his spawn Carnage perform a duet about their respective hosts in the song’s accompanying lyric video.
Eminem also did the soundtrack for the first part of “Venom“, which was released in 2018. The track was then featured in his surprise album “Kamikaze“.
The new song was previously hinted at by Mozzy’s manager, who teased a possible collab with Polo G and Eminem. Then some more hints and speculation started to arise, and some pointed at a possible “The Marshall Mathers 3” album.
Earlier today, Eminem also opened a new “Mom’s Spaghetti” spot in Detroit, where he himself makes a surprise appearance to serve some lucky fans.
Before Eminem orders, the third verse, Polo G and Mozzy share the mic. He then raps, “Not to mention, I learned/ How to turn resentment and hurt/ To an unquenchable thirst, in the simplest terms/ It’s revenge of the nerd, in every sense of the word.”
Eminem will star in 50 Cent’s upcoming Starz series Black Mafia Family as Rick Wershe Jr., a.k.a. White Boy Rick. In an interview with Complex in September, 50 revealed what pulled Em to the project so many years after his critically lauded performance in 8 Mile.
Em’s most recent studio album, the Hitchcock-inspired “Music to Be Murdered By”, landed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums list in January of this year. The album included the posthumous Juice WRLD collaboration “Godzilla,” which was accompanied by a video directed by Cole Bennett.
