Listen to another new Juice WRLD song “The Light”.
After teasing it earlier this week, Juice WRLD’s estate has put out a new posthumous release called “The Light”. The track was first previewed in an Instagram livestream by producer and 808 Mafia member—Gezin, in late June 2020 and it was leaked in its entirety later that year.
This follows up on the late rapper’s previous release “Face 2 Face“, and is reportedly set to appear on Juice WRLD’s next posthumous album “The Party Never Ends”.
“Been through it, I don’t really wanna get into it / Throwin’ out your heart to break mine, so I won’t do it / Also, baby, you’re my lifeline, you’re a influence / All the times you was mad, I was over under your influence,” raps WRLD.
Although it’s been reported that Juice WRLD left behind more than 2,000 songs before his passing in 2021, it has been officially confirmed that “The Party Never Ends” album will be his final released body of work.
“We want this album to feel like a Celebration/Party! Let’s celebrate the life of Juice,” Lil Bibby wrote earlier this year. “No more mourning, I want everyone that Juice loved while he was here to help celebrate, especially his fans who he loved! You guys have been the best fans an artist can have (Minus the death threats to Bibby). I’m not gonna complain but I’ll just say this is not easy. We miss you, We love you 999 til the world ends.”
