Kid Cudi drops new song “Do What I Want”.
Kid Cudi is back with some new material as he kicks off the campaign of his forthcoming new album “Entergalactic”. The Cleveland born has dropped his first single titled “Do What I Want”. The song is produced by Levi Carter, Roy Lenzo, Russ Chell & Take a Daytrip. The track was first teased back in 2020 through a IG live session by Cudi.
“While I cough up this blunt, I sit back in the cut / All my ni**as ridin’ with me, more excuses to stunt / And we fill up the cup, and we fill up the Woods / Loud bang out the truck and the Range lookin’ good,” he raps.
Entergalactic is described as “an unique, animated narrative about a young artist named Jabari, voiced by Mescudi, as he strives to reconcile love and career.” Finding the latter leads Jabari one step closer to the former, as moving into his ideal apartment introduces him to his new neighbour, photography it-girl Meadow – played by Jessica Williams. Entergalactic is an explosion of art, music, and fashion that takes place in the one metropolis that can manage all three: New York.”
The rapper recently assisted on Pusha T’s new album “It’s Almost Dry“, on the song called “Rock N Roll”, which also featured Kanye West. He revealed that this will be his last song with Ye on it.
