Kid Cudi & Jay-Z link up on the new song “Guns Go Bang”.
After announcing the collab last month, Kid Cudi and Jay-Z have joined forces on a brand new song called “Guns Go Bang”. The song appears on the soundtrack of Netflix new film “The Harder They Fall”. It was first teased in the trailer of the movie last month. The duo previously collaborated on Jay-Z’s “The Blueprint 3” album, where Kid Cudi assisted Hov on the song titled “Already Home”.
The Jeymes Samuel directed “The Harder They Fall” film stars Jonathan Majors, Idris Elba, Zazie Beetz, Regina King, Delroy Lindo, LaKeith Stanfield, RJ Cyler, Edi Gathegi, Danielle Deadwyler and Deon Cole. It is produced by Shawn ‘Jay Z’ Carter James Lassiter, Jeymes Samuel and Lawrence Bender.
On the soundtrack, Jay-Z also contributed with one more track “King Kong Riddim“, which featured Jadakiss and Conway The Machine.
JAY-Z will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this weekend, among the Foo Fighters, Tina Turner, Carole King, The Go- Go’s, and Todd Rundgren, who will not be in attendance. In a Tiffany & Co. ad, he just debuted a never-before-seen Jean-Michel Basquiat painting from his personal collection.
