Keyshia Cole drops a new song “I Don’t Wanna Be In Love”.
After going head to head with Ashanti for a Verzuz battle last month, Keyshia Cole makes her return to the music scene as she drops a new song called “I Don’t Wanna Be In Love“. The last we heard from her before that is on Kehlani’s “All Me” in 2019.
Cole, Ron Fair, Gregory Edwards, and Anthony Bell produced the music. It’s also the first song published by the singer’s label, Hearts & Stars, which is a collaboration with music distribution business BMG. Later this month, a video for “I Don’t Wanna Be in Love” will be released.
Keyshia recently faced off against Ashanti in their long-awaited Verzuz showdown. After Ashanti became ill with COVID-19, the singers’ duel was postponed twice, finally taking place in late January at separate places owing to the illness. Fans were disappointed when the couple were scheduled to meet, but Cole arrived late, for which she subsequently apologized.
