Kevin Gates shares freestyle over “Who Want Smoke”.
Following the release of “Talking To My Scale” earlier this month, Kevin Gates continues putting out new freebies as he drops another new freestyle. This time, the Baton Rouge rapper takes on Nardo Wick’s hit “Who Want Smoke” to spit some solid bars.
Kevin Gates’ latest piece of work, Only the Generals, Pt. II, the sequel to 2019’s Only the Generals Gon Understand, was released many months ago. His most recent official album, the 17-track I’m Him, was released in 2019. With 72,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week, Gates’ now-Gold album put him in the top five of the Billboard 200 and his fourth top 10 entry overall. He’s now working on an official sequel to I’m Him, which is expected to be the long-awaited Khaza.
The song comes along with an official video where Kevin Gates is accompanied by his crew as he raps in the streets at night time.
In 2022, Kevin Gates dropped his third studio album “Khaza” through Atlantic Records and Bread Winners’ Alumni. The album debuted and peaked at number eight on the US Billboard 200, moving 40,000 units in its first week.
