Justin Timberlake shares a new music video “Selfish.”
After announcing it recently, Justin Timberlake makes his return to the music scene for a brand new single titled “Selfish”. The track is produced by Timberlake, Louis Bell & Cirkut, and it also gets a video treatment which is directed by Bradley J. Calder.
“So if I get jealous, I can’t help it / I want every bit of you, I guess I’m selfish / It’s bad for my mental, but I can’t fight it, when / You’re out lookin’ like you do, but you can’t hide it, no,” he sings.
The song is the first offering from Timberlake’s upcoming new album “Everything I Thought It Was,” a follow-up to 2018’s “Man of the Woods”.
“I think there are moments that are incredibly honest, but, also, there’s a lot of f–king fun on this album,” he told Zane Lowe on Apple Music. “I flirted with the idea of, should I host or ask to host? And then I just thought, ‘No, this album is really special to me in a different, different way,’” he said ahead of SNL appearance. “And, yeah, you read that perfectly, but I also cannot imagine that I won’t get pulled into a sketch or two. It’s only natural. And I’m here for it. That’s always fun. SNL, for me, in any capacity. I’ve hosted five, but I don’t even know how many times I’ve been on the show.”
