Juice WRLD, Eminem & Benny Blanco Teams Up On New Song Lace It

Eminem assists on new Juice WRLD song “Lace It” with Benny Blanco.

After being teased by Lil Bibby the other day, the new Juice WRLD song “Lace It” featuring Eminem and Benny Blanco is finally here.

“200 phone calls to get this song to y’all!! Hope you appreciate it cuz I hate talking that much…. The Party Never Ends coming soon!! Big Thank you to Eminem and Benny on this one!! Let the Party Start,” wrote Bibby in the deleted post. The track reportedly serves as the lead single to Juice WRLD’s next posthumous album “The Party Never Ends.”

In his verse, the Detroit rapper raps about the deaths because of the use of pills and dr-gs. “Fenta-yl (Yeah), O-y (What?), Deme-ol / Them are all what possibly got Shock G (Damn), Roxi’ / ‘Cod-ne and le-n is probably what got Lil Peep and ODB (Yeah) / So many who OD be (What?), way too young to go see me (Me),” he raps.

This is the second collab between Eminem and Juice WRLD, following up on 2020’s “Godzilla”, which peaked at number 3 on the US Billboard 200. This is the second release from Eminem this year, following up on Ez Mil collab “Realest.

“people always say things like “this song means a lot to me” or “it changed my life”… when discussing a piece of music they’re listening to… “lace it” truly gives that a new meaning to me bc the day we recorded was also the last time i ever saw juice… everyday that moment gets further away… and id trade this or any other song we did to have him back… i didn’t think i would b crying while writing this but here we are… jared u r talent that will never be matched … ur laugh and spirit r infectious im gonna play this song so loud u can hear this in heaven tonight … we miss u,” wrote Benny Blanco.

He continued with flowers for Eminem: “marshall i dont even know where to start… i remember exactly where i was the first time i saw the video for “my name is” it stopped me in tracks… i knew in that very moment that i had to make music and that i was gonna dedicate my entire life to it… u paved the way for people to b different and not feel weird about being an outcast… both me and juice wouldnt b who we are without u… thank u”

Juice WRLD’s mother (and executor of his estate) revealed a possibility of another new posthumous album in 2024, with his manager Lil Bibby. “I know that Brandon, [Lil] Bibby is putting in a lot of work to make it really good,” she told XXL. “I mean, he’s really committed and dedicated to being proud of it, you know. He puts a lot of time and effort into what he produces, so, I know that the love is there. I know that the commitment is there and I know he wants everything to be perfect.”

“So, it’s coming and people should stop stealing music. I just have to throw that in there, too, because that messes up things as well. People want stuff they haven’t heard, but, you know, that’s an issue.

“But he’s working through it and it’s coming soon and it’s a work of love. I think he’s proud of the progress he’s making on it, but it’s going to be great. So, they just have to be just a little patient and let it go through the process, but it’s coming soon,” she added.
