Joey Badass shares new music video “The Ruler’s Back.”
Joey Badass returns to the music scene as he kicks off 2025 with a brand new song titled “The Ruler’s Back.” The track is produced by Conductor Williams, and it arrives with a music video directed by Waqas Ghani.
“Too much West Coast d–k l–kin’ / I’m hearin’ ni–as throwin’ rocks, really? Ain’t sh-t stickin’ / ‘Cause if we talkin’ bar-for-bar, really, it’s slim pickings / I rap like I draw pentagrams and kill chickens, ni–a / F–k around with your soul like [ether?] quick for feature / This that black Airforce energy comin’ out your speaker / I’m out your reach, your arms too short to box the Elohim,” he raps.
This follows up on his September offering, “Tell Me” with Chloe. Recently, he also assisted Cordae on the song “Syrup Sandwiches.”
