Jay Rock enlist Anderson .Paak & Latto for “Too Fast (Pull Over)”.
Jay Rock continues putting out new material as he now enlists Anderson .Paak & Latto for his new single “Too Fast (Pull Over)”. This follows up his previous offering “Eastside” with Kal Banx. The song is produced by Mustard & GYLTTRYP, and it was released through Top Dawg Entertainment & Interscope Records.
“Six-trey, black top with the candy paint / In your bi–h face, eat the cake, Anna Mae / Ni–as actin’ animated, I’ma have to draw the weapon / Send a stepper up the stairway to heaven,” raps Jay.
The song is reportedly off Rock’s new album “Eastside Johnny”, which will be his first in five years, as he last dropped “Redemption” in 2018, which was his third studio effort.
“The new album is great, man,” Jay Rock said in a recent interview on Bootleg Kev podcast. “Everybody’s like, ‘Man what’s taking so long? It’s been five years!’ All the fans been beating me up and stuff on Instagram but it’s just about trying to make good quality music. Like I said, I’m tryna do an album like my last one where you ain’t gotta skip sh-t. No skips.”
He continued, “I’m just tryna do an album like that and, you know. People know who I am, man. It’s Jay Rock. I could rap circles around a lot of people but, you know.”
