Jay Rock and Ab-Soul connect on “Blowfly”.
After announcing it earlier this week, Jay Rock and Ab-Soul join forces for a brand new collab titled “Blowfly”. The track is produced by Kal Banx, and it is off Rock’s upcoming new album “Eastside Johnny”, which is due to drop next year.
“In a two tone Winnebago smokin’ Fuego / And I’m shootin’ that sh-t with the mole heads, what’s the play though? / Them young ni–as done spotted the wrong tattoos / Left him inside the whip with a substance like Ragu,” raps Rock.
This follows up Jay Rock’s recently released “Ambition” freestyle, while it’s Soul’s first offering since last year’s “Herbert” album.
Eastside Johnny will be Jay Rock’s first album in 5 years, a follow up to his third studio album “Redemption” from 2018. The project featured appearances from Kendrick Lamar, SZA, SiR, Future, Tee Grizzley, J. Cole, Jeremih and more.
