J.I.D releases a new song “Surround Sound”.
Following an announcement earlier this week, J.I.D makes his return with some new material as he drops a brand new song called “Surround Sound” which comes along with an official video. The song features assistance from Baby Tate and 21 Savage. It is produced by Nur, Christo and DJ Scheme. It kicks off the campaign for J.I.D’s next studio album “The Forever Story”.
“Push the f**king pack off on the porch or break a pound down / Get the scrap if it happen to blow, it make surround sounds / Pu**ycat on my lap, push it back and go to town down / Putting rap on my back and I’m black and snatching crowns,” raps J.I.D.
Along with the track, a music video directed by Mac Grant and Chad Tennies was released. It begins with shots of the rappers standing atop automobiles surrounded by a group of ladies before reflecting the song’s musical shift and turning to black and white footage of numerous J.I.Ds in an ominous mansion.
This follows up J.I.D’s previous offering “Ambassel“. Watch the new video below.
