Gwen Stefani drops a new song “Slow Clap” with Saweetie.
Gwen Stefani continues releasing new material as the singer-songwriter teams up with Saweetie for a new version of her single “Slow Clap” which was released last month. The track comes along with a colorful music video.
“I finally made it, so make it clap, make it clap,” the “My Type” rapper raps around halfway through the video, which was released on Friday morning (April 9). She’s wearing bright pink hair, a hot pink cropped baseball shirt, and matching star-spangled booty shorts. “Got the laffy taffy, make ’em lean, make ’em snap/ Saweetie got that Bubbalicious, chew it up it’s so delicious/ Stack, stack, stack, stack, stack/ My favourite position is CEO, check the stats,” she says.
Stefani released the reggae-tinged song last month as the follow-up to “Let Me Reintroduce Myself,” which she released in December. Stefani’s fourth full-length studio album, whose title and release date have yet to be revealed, is believed to include the two tracks.
Saweetie recently contributed to Lil Tjay’s new album “Destined 2 Win“. Watch the new visual below.
