Gucci Mane shares the new song “Dissin The Dead”.
Following the release of “All Dz Chainz” with Lil Baby last month, Gucci Mane is back with some new offerings as he drops a brand new track called “Dissin The Dead”. As the name suggests, the 1017 Records boss wants everyone to stop taking shots at the artists who passed away.
“I know I should be more careful with the sh*t that I said / I feel like I started a trend, they never gon’ stop / They gon’ keep dissin’ the dead,” he raps.
Gucci Mane discreetly released “Dissin The Dead,” a new song, on Dolph’s 37th birthday. In it, he addresses a persistent issue in hip-hop, namely the practice of certain artists using their songs to make derogatory comments about the deceased.
Despite the fact that Dolph was well-liked in his neighborhood, his profession, and beyond, some people chose to utilize his death to spread unfavorable rumors about him. Other victims have experienced this kind of hatred, like Pop Smoke and King Von. On Gucci’s latest song, he raps on the need to stop “dissing the dead” right now.
The song comes on the 37th Birthday of Young Dolph, who was shot and killed last year in November. A first Dolph posthumous track called “Hall of Fame” is released to celebrate the day.
