Gucci Mane subliminally shades NBA Youngboy.
NBA Youngboy has been beefing with Lil Durk for quite some time, and he recently took shots at him with a brutal diss track “I Hate Youngboy“. On the track, the Baton Rouge rapper also dragged other rappers like Lil Baby, Gucci Mane, Boosie Badazz, 21 Savage and more. Just the other day, Boosie Badazz snapped back with the new song “I Don’t Call Phones I Call Shots”, and now it’s Gucci Mane’s turn.
Gucci Mane recently shared a picture of himself with the caption “I feel like I’m Gucci Mane in 2006,” which was a line from Youngboy’s 2019’s song “Make No Sense.” And now the rapper dropped a new track “Publicity Stunt”, where he responds to NBA Youngboy without mentioning his name.

“He tryna pull a publicity stunt / These rappers be pu**y, they bleed once a month / Don’t speak on my name, don’t get put in a blunt / You can diss all you want, still won’t get a response,” he raps on Tay Keith produced beat. “Why you diss me for publicity ni**a? / Is you in the streets or a industry ni**a? / Is you my fan or my enemy, ni**a?”
In between insults, the rapper makes time for political commentary, comparing himself to a number of international leaders, including Russia’s troubled President Vladimir Putin. “Ain’t no disputin’, I kill like I’m Putin,” he says. “Got a truck full of shooters, I move like I’m Trump/Soldiers thank God for me like I’m Obama.”
“Publicity Stunt” follows the January release of “Rumors,” a duet with Lil Durk. That single was the catalyst for YoungBlood’s Gucci Mane slurs barely a month later.
