French Montana drops a new single “I Don’t Care”.
French Montana recently engaged in a scuffle with some fans online who tried to troll his catalog, but now he decided to put that aside to share some new music. French Montana is back with some new material as he releases a new single called “I Don’t Really Care“.
The song comes along with an accompanying music video, which is directed by Edgar Esteves and French Montana himself. The video stars Diddy, and reenacts visuals of Childish Gambino, The Weeknd, and also shows him as POTUS, and more.
A promotional single published in advance of French’s first album Excuse My French, which is set to be released on May 21st, 2013. The song does not include Mikky Ekko in the traditional sense, but rather samples Mikky’s song “Pull Me Down,” with some trap/EDM inspired production over the top.
French sings on the difficulties that fame and riches bring, as well as the problems in the streets, in the song, coupled with some of his characteristic braggadocio.
The track follows up his previous offering “FWMGAB“.
