Fivio Foreign shares “God Did” freestyle.
Following the release of “London Freestyle” last month, Fivio Foreign now takes on DJ Khaled’s “GOD DID” album. The Brooklyn rapper picks the title track after being inspired by JAY-Z’s new verse, and drops bars over Khaled & STREETRUNNER’s beat. He also takes the opportunity to point out that Beyonce, or Queen Bey, is one of his fans.
“And Hov never mentioned but I know he hear me too / Yeah, young boy said I’m the king, he compared me to you / Ni**a, that was Kanye West / I even sampled one of Beyoncé’s best / Even Beyoncé said “Demon time” / Khaled ain’t called me for the album, that hurt me inside / On my album, he did a skit called “God Did” / Then dropped the album called GOD DID, uh / Yeah, like is this pain really worth the fame?,” he raps.
Additionally, he praised Bey for utilising his tagline “devil time” in the remix of “Savage” with Megan Thee Stallion. In another part of the freestyle, Fivio gives credit to Khaled for creating the line “God Did” for the song “B.I.B.L.E. Talk” from Fivio’s B.I.B.L.E. album.
